



USA was created in 1996 and has 11 years of direct Logistics experience, and a corporate legacy of over 30 years of applicable logistics performance. USA offers the full range of services needed by government agencies to improve agency mission performance and support federal clients' goals now and in the future. Our Logistics Services organization has the depth of professional resources that enables us to respond successfully to virtually any government-logistical requirement. USA maintains a permanent presence at Johnson Space Center (JSC), Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), Moscow, Palmdale and, Huntington Beach. We deploy personnel to CONUS Emergency Land Sites (ELS) such as White Sands, NM and Edwards AFB.
We have refined the management practices and captured the lessons learned to effectively manage, integrate and upgrade mission critical systems within the space arena. Over the eleven plus years since SFOC inception, we have assembled the management team, culture and company resources that have excelled in managing the world's largest space operations contract.
From our Texas facilities, we prepare all crew documentation; equipment; and, mission food, water, and consumables for use in-flight for each Space Shuttle mission. Our engineers and technicians develop and execute all crew training in both fixed and motion based simulators, along with all crew training, materials, and equipment for extravehicular activity. We maintain the facilities, plan the missions, prepare the crews and perform mission operations during flight.
Our organizations in Florida have primary responsibility for all processing and launch operations that include the operation, maintenance, design and sustaining engineering for the ground computer, communications network and other support systems at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC). We have extensive experience and a sustained safety record in hazardous materials processing (Pyrotechnic, hypergolic, etc) and the complex and hazardous sea recovery. USA performs systems engineering (SE), integration, and logistics support on all Shuttle processing operations and have a comprehensive depot with state-of-the-art manufacturing capability to produce and perform maintenance on mechanical assemblies and components, specializing in parts obsolescence risk mitigation, and a dedicated complex to perform the critical refurbishment operations.
USA is well-equipped to handle, concurrent multiple task orders. In addition to having a staff of over 8000 technical personnel with diverse qualifications, we are organized to efficiently process and to successfully fulfill multiple GSA schedule orders.
